Quick Start

After creating your Superface account, you will be directed to Setup Claude page.

Prerequisites

Start by downloading Claude for Desktop, choosing either macOS or Windows. (Linux is not yet supported for Claude for Desktop.)

Because servers are locally run, MCP currently only supports desktop hosts. Remote hosts are in active development.

To run the Superface MCP Server, you need to have Node.js runtime installed on your computer. You can download it from nodejs.org.

Verify the Node.js installation by opening command line

Once in the command line enter following command:

node --version

Add a tool

In order to properly connect Superface to your Clade for Desktop, you will need to have at least one tool installed. To get you moving quickly you can add the Wttr.in tool directly from this page by clicking + Add.
